Energy & Water Agency (EWA)

The Energy & Water Agency (EWA) is a Government of Malta agency responsible for developing and coordinating national policies related to energy and water. Its work focuses on energy security, renewable energy, energy efficiency, water sustainability, demand management, and long-term planning for Malta’s energy and water needs. Water Services Corporation (WSC)

The Water Services Corporation (WSC) is a Government-owned corporation responsible for managing Malta’s complete water and wastewater cycle. Its work includes water production, distribution, wastewater treatment, infrastructure management, and ensuring the quality and sustainability of water services across the Maltese Islands. Environment and Resources Authority (ERA)

The Environment and Resources Authority (ERA) is Malta’s national environmental regulator responsible for protecting the environment and promoting the sustainable management of natural resources. In relation to water and land use, ERA regulates activities that may affect land and water resources, carries out environmental assessments, monitors environmental impacts, and supports policies aimed at sustainable resource management and protection of Malta’s natural environment.

Agriculture and Rural Payments Agency (ARPA)

The Agriculture and Rural Payments Agency (ARPA) is a Government of Malta agency responsible for administering agricultural payments and supporting the implementation of EU and national agricultural policies.
