Żibel's October clean-up: Join the community action in Isla!

Want to help protect Malta’s marine and coastal environment? Żibel is hosting their monthly clean-up, bringing together volunteers to tackle marine waste head-on.

Whether you prefer staying dry or heading underwater, there is a way for everyone to contribute across three dedicated teams:

• Coast team: Sort and collect waste along the shore.

• Snorkelers: Gear up to help spot and collect debris.

• Divers: Open to divers with an Advanced Open Water license only (free tanks provided by Dive Systems - Malta; contact miguel@zibel.org to sign up as a diver).

• Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026

• Time: 09:00–14:00

What is provided: Żibel supplies gloves, mesh bags, lifting tools, and sunblock, and diving equipment is provided free of charge.
